Key Responsibilities

As the Manager, Health Service Innovation, you will spearhead the integration of cutting-edge solutions into BRAC’s Primary Health Care (PHC) operations. Your key responsibilities include:

Pilot Management: Plan, implement, and oversee innovation “test-bed” pilots for new health technologies (med-tech, digital health) within the PHC portfolio, managing everything from design and training to execution and rigorous evaluation.
Innovation Scouting: Continuously explore, assess, and identify emerging medical and digital innovations that can enhance primary healthcare efficiency, patient outcomes, and cost-effectiveness. Maintain a dynamic pipeline of promising solutions through engagement with innovation hubs, startups, and research partners.
Solution Co-Creation: Coordinate with internal BRAC teams (IT, Operations, M&E), technical experts, and external partners to co-create and refine innovative health solutions that align with BRAC and national health priorities.
Scaling & Integration: Develop comprehensive scale-up and integration plans for successfully piloted innovations, including creating operational guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and capacity-building materials for nationwide programme roll-out.
Project & Stakeholder Management: Oversee project budgets, tools, personnel, and timelines. Monitor performance metrics, reporting progress and outcomes to senior management. Build and manage collaborations with technology providers, universities, NGOs, and donors.
Proposal & Documentation: Develop concept notes, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses to secure internal and donor approval for new initiatives. Document pilot results meticulously and share learnings across the organization to foster a culture of innovation.

Required Qualifications

Education: MBBS degree from any recognised institute.
- Certification in PRINCE2 / PMP will be highly valued.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., health project management, public health innovation, digital health implementation, health-tech).
