Key Responsibilities

As the AGM/ DGM, Credit & Risk Management, you will lead the nationwide recovery operations to ensure timely collection, minimize credit losses, and maintain asset quality. Your key responsibilities include:

Strategic Planning & Leadership: Develop and execute national recovery and collection strategies aligned with company objectives. Define monthly, quarterly, and annual recovery targets and overdue reduction plans. Lead, train, and motivate the field recovery teams across the country to achieve collection efficiency.
Portfolio Monitoring & Operations: Ensure proper credit assessment of each customer before initiating credit sales. Monitor all overdue accounts and identify high-risk customers for early intervention. Implement structured MIS and dashboards for real-time recovery tracking.
Field & Legal Recovery Management: Supervise all field recovery activities, including the repossession and resale of vehicles when required, ensuring adherence to company policies and ethical standards. Liaise with legal teams for initiating cases or managing vehicles captured by thanas for legal issues (e.g., accidents, illegal goods). Oversee all documentation, repossession reports, and settlement agreements.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Sales, Legal, and Finance departments to maintain end-to-end control over the entire credit cycle. Provide regular, insightful portfolio updates to top management and recommend strategic actions.
Process & System Improvement: Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recovery operations. Introduce digital tools and technology platforms (e.g., field recovery apps, payment tracking systems) to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (MBA in Finance/ Banking is highly preferred).
Experience: Minimum 12–15 years of experience in credit recovery, collections, or asset finance.
Industry Preference: Experience within the automotive / commercial vehicle sector is highly preferred.
